Plan Annotations: Shape

8

The Shape tool allows you to add custom graphic annotations to your floor plan — for example, to mark furniture, zones, or other elements that don’t require 3D models. Shapes are only visible in the 2D plan and do not appear in the 3D editor or renders. This is a convenient way to make your drawings more informative and understandable for clients or team members.

Adding a shape

When you add a shape to the project, the «Drawing Object» menu automatically opens in the top-right corner with the default option set to Rectangle. This shape is highlighted in black in the preview window.

The added shape appears on the plan with a selection frame. Resize handles are located along the sides and in the center of the frame edges.

To resize the shape:

  • hover over a handle;
  • hold down the left mouse button;
  • drag the handle in the desired direction.

To rotate the shape:

  • use the rotation handle at the top of the selection frame.

To move the shape:

  • hover the cursor over the shape;
  • hold down the left mouse button;
  • drag the shape to the desired position.
