Download and Installation

To start using Planoplan, you need to install the desktop app on your computer. The program is available for both Windows and macOS. Below are step-by-step instructions for each operating system.

When you visit the Planoplan homepage, the website will automatically suggest the version of the program that matches your operating system. If needed, you can manually select a different version.

Installation on macOS

To install Planoplan on a macOS computer, you need to select the appropriate version of the installation file based on your device’s processor.

Choosing the Correct macOS Version

Planoplan is available in two versions:

• for computers with an Intel processor;
• for computers with an Apple Silicon processor (M1, M2, M3, or newer).

If your device uses an Apple Silicon processor, we recommend downloading the corresponding version. It offers:

• faster loading of large projects;
• stable and smooth performance;
• optimal performance in the 3D editor.

How to Determine Your Processor Type

If you're not sure which processor your Mac has:

1. Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner of the screen.
2. Select About This Mac.
3. In the window that opens, look at the line that says Processor or Chip.

• If it says Intel, download the Intel version.
• If it says Apple M1 / M2 / M3 / M4, download the Apple Silicon version.

Installation Steps

1. Download the installation file: PlanoplanSetup.pkg.
2. Open the downloaded file by double-clicking it.
3. The standard macOS installer will launch. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
4. Click «Continue».
5. Choose the installation location and review the amount of disk space required.
6. Click «Install».
7. Enter your macOS account username and password to authorize the installation.
8. Click «Install Software» to begin the installation process.
9. Once installation is complete, you’ll see a success message, and the registration form will open automatically.
10. When you close the installer, the system will ask if you want to move the installer to Trash — you can choose either option.

Installing on Windows

1. Download the PlanoplanSetup.msi installation file.
2. Double-click the file to open it.
3. The standard Windows installation wizard will launch.
4. Click «Next» to begin.
5. The program will confirm it is ready to install. Click «Install».
6. Wait for the installation to finish — the progress will be displayed in the next window.
7. After installation, the program will launch automatically and the registration form will open.
8. Click «Finish» to exit the installer.

Once the app is installed and launched, you can sign in or create a new account and start working on your interior design projects in the 3D editor.
