A design project is a PDF document composed of images, renders, and other project materials. It can be used for client presentations, communication with contractors, or printing. The document automatically includes a title page, a table of contents, and images with captions and your studio’s logo (if uploaded in your account).

How to create a design project

You can create a design project in several ways:

  • from the top menu in the app;
  • from the project gallery;
  • from your personal account;

If you're creating a document from a folder in your personal account, click the "Export PDF" button — in this case, the design project will be generated using all projects in the selected folder.

Design project setup

After launch, the setup window will open. You can fill in two fields:

  • "Design project name" — it will appear on the title page and be used as the PDF filename.
  • "Design project description" — displayed on the title page below the name.

Adding and editing content

In the center of the screen, two main blocks are shown:

  • "Available content" — images and renders you can add to the project.
  • Page list — the final sequence of pages in the PDF.

To add an image to the project:

  1. Hover over the desired render in the "Available content" block.
  2. A yellow highlight and a "+" symbol will appear.
  3. Click the image — it will move to the page list.

To remove an image from the page list:

  1. Hover over the image in the page list.
  2. A trash bin icon will appear in the top-right corner.
  3. Click it — the image will move back to «Available content.»

You can also disable the frame with the title block (signature in the bottom-right corner of the page):

  • Hover over the image in the page list.
  • A frame icon will appear in the bottom-right corner.
  • Click it — the icon will be crossed out, and the frame will not appear in the PDF.

You can change the order of the images in the PDF:

  • Drag an image in the page list with the left mouse button to the desired position.

Adding custom content

You can upload your own images from your computer or via a link. Supported formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG.

  1. click the "Upload third-party content" button in the left block with renders;
  2. choose one of the upload methods: From the desktop — select one or more files via the file dialog, via the link — paste the image URL.

Logo

If you've uploaded a logo in the «Profile» tab of your personal account, it will appear automatically in the bottom-right corner of the workspace.

If no logo is uploaded:

  • Click the "Upload your logo" button — this opens the "Profile" tab, where you can upload your logo image.

Export to PDF

When your project is ready, click the "Export to PDF" button. The PDF file generation process will begin.

  • If the "Design project name" field is empty, the file will be named planoplan.pdf.
  • If filled in — the filename will match the name you entered.

The PDF file will be saved to your device.
