Renders take a long time to process, or the render fails with an error
Why does this happen?
This can happen because of external factors and for reasons beyond our control. To keep the system fault-tolerant, Planoplan’s computing capacity is distributed evenly, so if the provider’s data centers go down, the feature stays available. However, render completion time increases because a rendering queue forms.
What to do?
- All submitted renders will eventually be processed when their turn comes. You don’t need to do anything extra. If a render failed with an error, we’ll also re-render it without you needing to contact support.
- If you want a more comfortable and faster rendering experience, consider working during less busy hours. During peak hours, render processing may take longer — up to several hours.
- If the situation is critical for you, message support in the app. The team will try to find a solution and help.
Where can I follow updates?
We continue to work on minimizing the impact of external factors on users of the app. You can get updates quickly by contacting support or directly in the app.
We place important information about how the app is working directly inside it: for those who are working now and for whom it’s relevant. Information may appear in the info bar, on a banner, in a pop-up, or arrive as a notification via the bell icon.
If you have any questions, found an error, or couldn't find the information you need, please contact us at support@planoplan.com, use the built-in support on the website or in th app (icon in the bottom right corner).
