In this section, we have collected answers to your questions about adding 3D models, catalog setup, and getting new clients via Planoplan.

What does the process of product upload to your software look like?
First, we assess the format and quality of your 3D models. To do this we will ask you to send us from three to five different models for assessment. We assess them to define whether optimization is needed. Unfortunately, different modelers often develop models according to different requirements. So, most probably we will need to adapt them. After the preliminary assessment, you provide us with all the models you need to upload, the company logo, and product articles. You can also send us drawings, dimensions, and images of the objects that you have not previously modeled. We will compose a specification that will demonstrate what should be done about each model so that you will understand the costs and terms we guarantee from our side before we sign a contract.
What 3D model formats does Planoplan support?
Planoplan software has its internal model format .pab. The tool has a specialized built-in 3D model loader to convert your models to this format. However, we can take on the upload and adaptation of 3D models in large volumes. We accept models in .3DS, .FBX and .OBJ formats. How can I receive my product usage metrics?
Yes, upon request we can provide you with the metrics where you can see the period, the number of users, and the number of projects where your items have been used.
How will I know that interior designers use my products?
You can learn it from the metrics you receive from us. However, the most important tool is our selection system which enables you to find designers you would like to work with. Together we will define the details of those, with whom you would like to collaborate. We will send them this offer as a feedback form so that they leave their data and portfolio. We will provide you with these feedback forms for you to contact designers directly. We do not charge any commissions or hidden fees for this service.
How long does it take to make my 3D models available to designers after uploading?
It depends on the number of 3D models you would like to upload. On average, it takes up to five working days to upload and adapt 50 models.
Is it possible to use the 3D models mode with Planoplan for work in other software?
Yes, we will provide you with a file in .FBX format in terms of our services which you can process with all the popular 3D modeling software.
How long will our model be available to designers in the public catalog?
Your corporate catalog will be available to designers as long as you pay for your subscription. After it expires, your catalog will become inactive in the list of corporate catalogs and search. Models added to projects by users will remain in their projects as long as these projects exist.
How can I update the catalog content?
You can send us the model articles to add to the public version of your corporate catalog.
