How to change the grid shape in a new project

On the Diy and Lite pricing plans, the project’s workspace — the grid — is limited to 1000 m². In a new project, the grid is initially a square. However, you can change its shape by building a rectangular room from one edge of the grid to the other.

How the grid works

The grid automatically adapts to the shape of the room. When you start building walls, the workspace expands and follows the outline of the room. This way, you can immediately work in a convenient configuration without extra adjustments.

Changing the grid shape

1. Build a rectangular room from one edge of the grid to the opposite edge.
2. Close the app.
3. When you reopen the project, the grid will automatically rebuild and re-center according to the new room shape.

This way, the grid always adapts to your project and remains a convenient tool for precise modeling.
