In Planoplan you can produce spherical 360 ° panoramas that let clients explore a scene as a virtual tour.

What is a 360 ° panorama?

360 ° panorama — a spherical image stitched from eight separate renders to create a full‑surround view.

Open the dedicated rendering mode by clicking the camera icon in the top toolbar.

Creating a 360 Panorama

  1. Go to the «Panorama 360» mode.
  2. In the opened menu, select the desired resolution.

Choosing a resolution

The resolution affects both image quality and rendering time. Available options:

  • preview — fastest rendering, but with noticeable visual artifacts. Best for setting up camera position and lighting;
  • UHD 4K — optimal balance between quality and speed. Recommended in most cases;
  • UHD 8K — highest quality and detail level, but requires longer rendering time.

You cannot use preview panoramas to build a virtual tour.

Preview and framing tools

  • The «Preview» button hides all interface elements for a clean view of the rendered panorama.
  • The «View» button shows the area captured by the camera.

After rendering on the cloud server, the panorama will appear in the project gallery.
